Payment fees vary. E-checks are free. Debit cards cost a flat $4.00. Credit cards charge 2.50% of the payment amount, with a $2.00 minimum. Late tax payments after November 30 carry penalties under Utah statute 59-2-1331. The Treasurer collects and distributes all property taxes for Smithfield.
